Immediate Care (First 24 Hours):
- Keep it Clean: Avoid touching the area. Clean your hands before any interaction.
- Avoid Moisture: Do not wet the area. Avoid sweating, swimming, and saunas for the first 24 hours.
- Apply Ointment: If advised by your technician, apply a thin layer of an antibacterial ointment (like Aquaphor) to keep the area moisturized.
Days 2-7:
- Gentle Cleansing: Clean the area gently with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser. Pat dry with a clean towel.
- Moisturize: Continue to apply the recommended ointment 2-3 times a day to keep the area hydrated.
- Avoid Makeup: Do not apply makeup on or around the eyes during the healing process.
General Tips:
- Sun Protection: Keep the area out of direct sunlight. Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes.
- No Picking or Scratching: Avoid picking at any scabs or peeling skin to prevent scarring and uneven healing.
- Watch for Infection: Monitor for signs of infection, such as increased redness, swelling, or discharge. Contact your technician or a healthcare professional if you notice any concerning symptoms.
Long-Term Care:
- Hydration: Keep the skin around your eyes moisturized.
- Sun Protection: Always use sunscreen on your face and wear sunglasses to protect the tattoo from fading.
- Regular Touch-ups: Follow your technician’s recommendations for touch-ups, usually every 1-3 years.
Lash Lift Aftercare
- Keep Lashes Dry: Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24-48 hours after the treatment.
- Avoid Eye Makeup: Do not apply eye makeup, especially mascara, for at least 24 hours to allow the lift to set.
- Be Gentle: Avoid rubbing your eyes or sleeping on your face, which can disturb the lifted lashes.
- Avoid Heat and Steam: Stay away from hot showers, steam rooms, and saunas for 24-48 hours to ensure the lift lasts longer.
- Use Oil-Free Products: Use oil-free makeup removers and skincare products around the eye area to maintain the lift and prevent lashes from losing their curl.
